Morse-theoretical analysis of lensing in wormhole spacetimes

چکیده
We consider a class of stationary and axisymmetric wormhole spacetimes that is closely related to, but not identical with, the Teo wormholes. fix point $p$ (observation event) timelike curve $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ (worldline light source), we characterize set all past-oriented lightlike geodesics from to $\ensuremath{\gamma}$. As any such geodesic corresponds an image source on observer's sky, this allows us investigate lensing properties wormhole. main result, prove with help Morse theory that, under very mild conditions $\ensuremath{\gamma}$, observer always sees infinitely many images Moreover, study some qualitative features two potentials determine sum centrifugal Coriolis forces observers in circular motion for case observers' velocity approaches light. exemplify general results specific spacetimes.
